About Course

This course expands foundational Spanish by focusing on vital sentence structures and past-tense communication. Students will learn to recount completed actions using the preterite (simple past) tense, while also mastering the present progressive to describe ongoing events. The curriculum deepens vocabulary and verb usage by exploring the nuances between saber and conocer, the dynamic applications of quedar, and high-frequency verbs like dar, decir, tener, preferir, poder, and servir. Additionally, learners will refine their descriptive abilities using noun-adjective agreement, construct compound actions with verb-plus-infinitive pairings, and effectively express likes and preferences using gustar. Finally, the introduction of indirect object pronouns allows students to specify to whom or for whom actions are performed, creating a more complex and natural conversational flow.
